(I always love your photos -- especially the sunsets.) I thought it was a very droll comment on the events of the day being so utterly surreal that we might as well just fast forward to The Onion.

Lately I've been doing a lot of moon photos, but it's raining in SoCal and the moon is invisible!

I was cutting up this onion as part of my dinner and the interior design really caught my eye.........so I took the photo.

Talk about symbolism!
