Jupiter is just coming over the horizon right now! Yesterday morning the moon was on the other side of Venus. Can't wait to see them again.

Nice picture!

It's a beautiful photo. Antares is pretty noticeably red or at least orange even to the naked eye, and the whole constellation of Scorpius is beautiful, bright, well-defined and actually looks like what it represents. So you were dead right. Jupiter and Venus (as well as Mars and Saturn) have been hanging around in the Virgo-Libra-Scorpius area for a while now.

Noticed the arc out my bedroom window so went out on the balcony for the shots.

So I stand by my post. The first shot was taken around 5:30 am before any sunlight was visible. When I edited the OP to add the photo taken at dawn, I also edited the OP title to reflect dawn.

And we appeared to have a different view yesterday
We saw planet - moon - plant almost in a straight line. It was incredible.
We were traveling and it was -15 so I didn't get a picture.
