Related: About this forum***April is near - we need the diversion of the APRIL Photo contest***Idea for theme
In just a few days we'll start April / fool's day is around the corner. I went this morning to photograph a house a friend is rehabbing. The first photo shows the basement straight on, the second shows what I saw to my very left as I turned to leave.
I would like to propose as a theme for April
WHIMSICAL, FANCIFUL, or ODD
I'm not married to the idea, it just came to me when I looked at the photos and the thought of April fool's day came to mind.
Here I 'm making a post for folks who tell me they like the idea and would create or find a photo in their archives.
If not - tell me your own idea and maybe we get enough to run a communal poll.
It's early yet.

It's kindof not what I meant.
Flowers and baby animals, or animals in general, show up in submissions almost whatever the subject is designated to be. You made my day with your response.

several shots came to mind...here's one I thought of immediately (but I won't submit it) The Little Mermaid installed in the harbor of Copenhagen.
