I can just feel the atmosphere from looking at them. Really nice contrasts with the lights and darks!

I stayed there a few times while working the BP oil spill.

Not much around that area. The generations of oyster fishermen of Eastpoint Florida across the bridge from Appalachicola have had their livelihood taken away by BP and its Corexit. No more oysters. Governor Rick Scott had to put them all on welfare and retrained to be either prison guards, welders, truck drivers or get their GED’s.

For many years, I stayed at the Gibson Inn. But last time there, I had problems. The cheaper places just outside town (Best Western, etc) were absolutely full. Duke Energy. Gulf Power. Still in cleanup mode from Michael.
