The beach faces south here so from late fall through early spring the sun will both rise and set over the Atlantic here. Sunrise photos I've posted recently show the sun coming up over the ocean a bit more already than the sun going down does. But as winter comes on and the sun moves south, it will set farther out over the ocean.
