On the rocks

no, not my favorite cocktail.

My room faces the channel entrance to the marina at the resort. There are rocks all along this side. The green iguanas that I found so fascinating last March when I was here seem to have become quite a colony. Here are a few shots from this morning.

The colony

Are you eye-balling us?

MY ROCK

We Three Kings

Even the water looks like a rock

I like THIS one

How big do you think I am?

THIS big

And some rocks...first a conch wedged in between the rocks

Lots of coral

Caught my eye

They like to kill things. Maybe Floridians should create an incentive for all the damn trophy hunters who like to kill other species to come to Florida and kill green iguanas.

Frankly, I'd rather have more green iguanas and fewer humans of the Republican species.
