Thank you for the beautiful image!

I was out driving last Saturday and, up in the sky just as dark fell, was a sliver of moon with a very bright star just above, nestled in a pale blue fading to black sky. I immediately thought of you and your gorgeous moon pictures! When I got home, unfortunately I was too late, I tramped all over my front and back yards but couldn’t find it again. Drat! Well, maybe next time ....

It was the moon and Venus, very close to each other.......by our vision, anyway.

The moon was close to setting and had probably set by the time you got home.

Here's a link so that you can easily find the moon in your neighborhood! Just insert your town's name and then it will be correct for you:

I use it all the time and it's great!

How do you make those hearts? Especially up in the reply title? I have never been able to do it!

You really need to think about a coffee table book for your moon shots Peggy!

And a Happy New Year!

I hope you will take more photos, and post them here!

I love seeing what my friends are doing.

Thanks for the good wishes!
