I took a trip from Ouray to Telluride via the Imogene Pass a couple days ago. It is the second highest pass in Colorado, el. 13114'. Most of my pictures were taken on the way up when it was sunny. Coming down I got sleeted on.
The beginning.

(2,012 posts)Thanks for showing our beautiful southwest Colorado to DU. But we might note: don't try the great Imogene Pass in your town car!

Been there years ago. Definately not a town car road.
Nice color rendition and framing by the way.

(17,087 posts)I think there was a manned weather station there at one time. You can still see the ruins of some wooden structures. For some reason I think there may be a zip code still, and you can get stuff postmarked from Imogene Pass if you drop it in the box.
