solid simple it's not much of a challenge. I've got the macro lens, a flash with softbox and everybody has flies in Texas. He shows up, perched on my photo printer and all I have to do is tilt the back screen on the camera and slide in until he's in focus. Bang, perfect exposure with soft wrap around light.

The only challenge is making him stand still without refrigeration

Would be fine outside but I don't think I'd do it inside.

11. It does not blow them apart or anything. Just air and table salt.

I still wipe where it was and shoo the fly off of things that I don't want to shoot it on. Better than a fly swatter and more satisfying too. Gets flies in places where a swatter will not fit.

That really only works with still life and a tripod tho I've hand held in camera focus stacking. As best I can tell the camera crops the image just a bit, then aligns the images in all 5 axis then resizes it to full 20 mpxl. Works pretty well if the subject doesn't move.
