Remember this little guy?

It seems he has moved in with me. Well, on my property anyway. I found this burrow excavated between my house and the neighbor, the entry on my side and the 'residence' on the other. I set up my game camera to see who lived there and by golly it's the same opossum I trapped last week.

I don't know if he was responsible for all the damage to the lawn but if so it appears that he has either eaten all the grubs and earthworms or has developed a different diet. Sorry I couldn't get the video to imbed so just follow the link.

1. As long as you don't have chickens, let him be!

Possums are omnivorous, so he will take care of rodents and snakes as well as grubs and worms. They aren’t aggressive, and don’t carry rabies.

If you need to relocate him, you will want to take him a pretty good distance away or he will just return.

They try to look ferocious but those of us who know them know what 'playing possum' means.

I swear possum skulls look exactly like what I'd imagine a dragon skull to look like.

across my front yard a few days ago. They have lots of teeth and they will hiss at you if they feel threatened, but I've never had one get aggressive.

Very clever of you to check him out with your game camera. The footage is quite interesting!

May you live in peace with each other.

I can co-exist with just about anything as long as it co-exists with me.

I finally figured out that I have to bribe the deer to leave my landscaping alone. Put out an apple cut up every night and once they get the sweet taste of apple nothing else I've planted tastes good

9. The apple is an excellent approach for keeping the deer out of your garden!

And they're available year round.
