(never) closing time

in the evening I bring in the flag and the baked goods (so the bears don't eat them... I left homemade dog biscuits out one evening and the bears ate them all!!) but the little store is always open... most is by donation or free... this little stand is food for my soul

But in a red state in a metropolitan area that has 1500 new Covid cases a day and more than 100 deaths all I can do is hunker down and wait. Wait for the time when Plan A has a chance.

Plan A is a portrait studio to do couple, children and high school portraiture. All at cost for anyone taking part in the local food bank.

For now I distance and mask.

I envy you and others... I do appreciate what I have but in a sparsely populated rural area, my opportunities to be engaged and active in social change are limited... I am looking to move at some point to a geographic area where I can be more involved and make a difference...

we all do the best we can in our situation
