an odd thing...

I am in Charlotte, both working and volunteering at the Democratic National Convention... I'm not really taking photographs, just snapshots of the city and the events. I took this photo downtown this past weekend and when I put it on the computer I noticed the man in the lower part (near the right)... he appears to be climbing the wall (didn't notice him when I took the shot) very weird

Maybe he's a workman in some kind of harness, repairing the wall. drm604 Aug 2012 #1

Maybe the support is similar in color to the wall and the camera didn't pick it up.

That is the ground floor wall right? The sidewalks right below him? Maybe he's on some kind of ladder? Granted that's no visible either.

Maybe it's a statue of some kind. Some sort of Avant-Garde art of a man climbing the wall. It seems to be all the same color.

It looks like you can see the pant cuff hanging down. But it looks like it's in the other picture I found so I guess it's just a very lifelike figure.

At least not a real man.

Here's another image of the same building. Whatever it is is also in this image.

My friend and I had no good places to climb without driving for hours and hours to find suitable rock. We would amuse ourselves and keep in practice by scaling RR bridges, the edifices of buildings and anything else we could find that was a challenge.

I want someone from the area to drive over and solve this mystery.
If need be, post it in GD and solicit a volunteer.

This was bothering me more than it should.

Now that I see it, that's some awesome street art. It looks like he's going to get away with that keg LOL.

About halfway down the page are two pictures that include your wall climber.
