rejected ORANGE entries

I though about using one of these for my entry but rejected them

decided that the butterfly was to easy of a subject for orange. The chicken almost made the cut but at the last minute went with something else

It's curiously simple, and those two colors complement each other so remarkably well it's hard to believe it's coincidental. Good eye.

Hmmm, I will send you a PM with my email address if you like. Of course, if you win you have to host the contest and you need a star to be able to post a poll. But now they will take most any donation for that, thankfully.

Also you would have to enter a different photo since the entries are blinded this particular month.

I love your photos. Is that some kind of parachute, or a ride, or what (center one)?

We don't have that gull around here! Looks kinda mean, lol.

The second photo is a jellyfish, I believe I took that at the aquarium in Monterrey but can't remember for sure.

The bird in the third pic is a tern, picture was taken in Florida, the interesting thing about that bird was the band. I take a lot of waterfowl and migratory bird pics and it's always kind of a bonus when you see a banded one.

Thanks for the offer about this months contest, if you fall short send me a PM and I'll see if I can dig up another orange pic. Hopefully I'll have enough posts by next month.

I use that word in Scrabble and Boggle and Words with Friends. Never have seen one!

Took these over the recent Labor Day Weekend.

Not orange but I loved the way the cloud bank turned pink after the sun had set.
