Mark your calendars now: Feb. 15-18, 2013

The Great Backyard Bird Count for 2013 will run over 4 days, from February 15th-18th.


You count birds (and take photos, if you want, and send them in - there's also a photo contest) you see over a 4 day period. You don't have to do all 4 days.

Got to the site and read more. It's fun! It's educational! (and you get great photos to share with the rest of us)

The neighborhood strays figured out how to get to my bird feeder from my roof so I moved the feeder lower. The birds adjusted and the cats fear my dogs.

I had 2 Inca Doves today. I was very pleased to see them.

Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, and Rufous Sided Towhee's but they have moved on.
