Bristol Palin quitting "Teen Mom OG"

The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant announced on her Instagram account on Monday that she was leaving "Teen Mom OG" after appearing for one season.

"Teen mom OG wasn't a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly - my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford," Palin wrote in the caption of a photo of herself.
"$ doesn't impress me, I don't entertain bs, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me ..."

MTV's popular "Teen Mom" franchise focuses on young women who are parenting and the ensuing drama in their lives as they try to juggle motherhood with relationships and life struggles. Palin made headlines back in 2008 when her mother Sarah Palin was the Republican vice presidential running mate of John McCain and the 17-year-old was pregnant by her then boyfriend, Levi Johnston.

Palin is now 28 and in addition to her son, Tripp, with former boyfriend Johnston, she also shares daughters, Atlee, 19 months, and Sailor, 2, with her ex-husband, Dakota Meyer, whom she divorced in 2018, less than two years after they married.

Palin said leaving “Teen mom OG” will permit her to devote more time to God, and her children.
