Interesting because it’s set in Paris and the inspector has a unique style of investigating. Just realized that the actor was Blackadder

It was on PBS a couple of years ago.
Atkinson was a great Maigret - smart, humane, loving to his wife. I wish there were more episodes.

along with other British mysteries including Midsommer Murder. I also love the old British radio mysteries that are posted on YouTube too. The Paul Temple series is excellent. I found all these gems during my COVID lockdown which is still in effect to some degree.
