You had a digital tuner, or you didn't watch TV. There are a few analog stations near me, but I've never seen them. My oldest flat screen TV can receive analog signals as well as digital signals, but I don't think it can find any analog broadcasts to add to its array of available of stations.
Updated for 2023: my oldest flat screen, which was made in March 2007, finally threw in the towel two weeks ago. I'll be offering it for parts on Craigslist.
