I've watched some Dateline segments on cases I can recall that occurred many years ago without resolution--either in Colorado or which got tons of national media. But, to think the show has been on since 1972 and produced nearly 3000 episodes--OMG. Step away from the true crime serials, folks. Not healthy to consume 24/7.

Maybe we love true crime for the same reason. Because it's undeniable that we DO love true crime. Discovery owns everything now.
