Any other fans of the new incarnation of Dallas? I never watched the original but I knew the

storyline (hell everyone in America knew when JR was shot and Bobby came back from the dead). At the time I wasn't interested. This time around I gave it a shot
and found myself really liking the cast-both the old-timers AND the hot sexy newcomers. Its fast paced, occasionally surprising and always delightfully "soap opera-ish". Brenda Strong FINALLY gets a chance to be alive after 7 years a a ghost on Deperate Housewives, the hot young guys were both on soap operas I watched in the past, and Larry Hagman's eyelashes are incredible. They make my skin crawl!

Surely I'm not the only one....

I have been very impressed. Larry Hagman, in particular, has done amazing work on the show. Sure some of the stories are a bit ridiculous, for example Sue Ellen running for governor, but it is oddly addictive.

is she? And I think you're right-"oddly addictive" describes my reaction pretty well.

I've always been very impressed with Larry Hagman and this series only solidifies that opinion.

It has been renewed.

I do think the two young female actresses are kind of weak, skills-wise. I do like John Ross, though, he's such a p**ck, and I'm glad Linda Gray is back on television...all in all, very enjoyable.
