The episode was wonderful. I'm glad Brienne was able to get Jaime to see that he is no longer in a world of privilege, and this was how other people live, with harsh realities and tragedy.
Daenerys Stormborn's plan was incredible. Her advisors should stop being surprised by her ability to formulate a battle plan.
I have a hunch that Margery will be Queen with no king soon after their wedding.

(61,698 posts)It was interesting to discover what had happened to Lord Varys as a boy, and how far he's come.

(2,702 posts)They didn't make appearances in the third book, so it's interesting to see how the shows producers included them in the show this season. I was pretty certain from his first appearance that the guy that was supposedly trying to rescue Theon was Roose Bolton's bastard son Ramsay, but after he killed that group of his father's soldiers and the last one said "you bastard" before he took an arrow to the face, there wasn't any doubt left. Getting Theon's hopes up for rescue and then leading him back to the torture chamber just shows how cruel and depraved Ramsay is.
