I hope he comes back his season. I love Michonne. She knows how to handle herself.

About Michonne and Andrea. Were they just great friends, or were they lovers, like they seemed to be? Andrea of course was w/the gov and Michonne once mentioned a boyfriend, but I just got a vibe they were closer than platonic friends.

Anybody know for sure?

but it was never made explicit. I expect it was an emotional relationship rather than physical.

I don't think we ever found out who those two walkers Michonne had with her. Did we? She said she knew them while they were alive, and they got what they deserved.

I don't think they covered that either.

Oh well, there are too many story lines to follow, I guess, eh?

Kirkman once gave a non-answer in some public forum and Laurie Holden (Andrea) said that the writers were toyign with it and she said it would be cliche. So I do not think we ever got to see it, but it was left there for you to feel however you want. They clearly loved one another, but it might have just been platonic love, or maybe romantic love.

As for the walkers with Michonne, a comic Kirkman wrote in Playboy magazine explains it, but the TV show does not follow the comic completely. So who knows if they will tell the tale on TV.

9. Why of course

We get to see the heterosexual relationships shoved in our faces every week but any possible GLBT relationships must be subtextual, i.e. "hinted at" and never overtly expressed. It's not like any het relationships between characters are ever cliché, huh.

BTW, this is not directed at you dr.strangelove. Just venting my frustration at bullshit.

can definitely be cliche. often a ratings ploy.

there's now a lesbian couple on the show - matched up without a lot of fanfare

of course, the Atlanta setting screans for a gay couple. I'm surprised there's not one.

But in the comic, the two walkers were her boyfriend and his best friend.

If my memory is serving me correctly, the comic version of her late boyfriend and his best friend did not do anything to hurt her. The show is different enough from the comics that the comic fans won't always know what the major plot twists will be.

Ever-acted-on?! Who knows...

But the tension between them was that of people who have strong feelings for one another -- the kind of feelings that even close friendship doesn't explain.

I think Michonne's deep, consuming desire to find and destroy the Gov confirms this... at least for me, anyway.
YMMV.
