Related: About this forumMan Homeland has been good the last couple of weeks.
Finally got rid of the Dana drama... and it's all Brody, Sal, Carrie, etc.
Last night was edge of the seat excellence.

(4,178 posts)The filming was so dark I could hardly see it.
I have a question.
Did they show Carrie having a hook up with a stranger? Some one mentioned she had a one night stand . I don't remember.
Is there a question about if it is Brody's baby?
Also I predict the Dana drama will have a tie in at the end of the season.
I think the CIA will use Dana to get control of Brody.
There had to be a reason Dana was so important.

(20,805 posts)...Salon's was particularly funny... http://www.salon.com/2013/12/02/homelands_most_preposterous_episode_yet/
On the whole this season has been hit and miss, the first three episodes very much of the 'miss' variety, but now we're getting into the spy/military ops-type stuff which is much more intriguing...and yes, of course it's preposterous...it's teevee for crying out loud...
Loved the look on his face last week when the new DG-elect got pwned by Saul...smarmy bastard had it coming...

(20,805 posts)...but the first three weeks were dreadful...Watching Clare Danes chew through the scenery, one quivering lower lip at a time sorely tested my resolve...and the teenage daughter debacle had me actually yelling at the screen - I honestly don't know which was worse, the dialogue or the acting...
But...here we are...doing spy shit again, with some nice revenge 'Don't you ever fucking forget that I run the CIA regardless of your eventual title' Saulisms and we're well on our way to getting back to what made the show so great in the first season...

I think you'll like this one...

"'Homeland' continues to prove its strength for Showtime, and is one of television's most exciting, provocative and widely-discussed shows. It has grown its audience significantly in each of its three seasons," David Nevins, Showtime entertainment president, said in a statement.

The big ending this season...
Carrie has been playing Brody all along, like a good CIA operative would, that's my wild guess. Also she will end up in a serious relationship with Quinn, that's my hope anyway.

(12,409 posts)They said that line repeatedly over the past 3 episodes. The Brody "screen "was not typical! Think about how this scene was done in the wild west....this is not how Brody's scene went down. Thus he is a cockroach.
