HBO's Getting On (SPOILERS)
With two parents and one in-law well into their 80's, and another in-law with beginning Alzheimer's, I approached the pilot of the series with some reserve. Did I really need a double dose of geriatric hijinks in my life?
Judging from the pilot episode, I suppose the answer is yes. While I have never found "turd" humor to be amusing (Caddyshack excepted), this episode was just too over-the-top silly, smart, and well-crafted, and darn near sent me rolling on the floor laughing.
Sign me up. Anyone else?
