So shocking to see... just horrific - I couldn't believe it. At least he's been saved for now, but what will happen next? I mean, he was supposed to be a human sacrifice in season one, and this season they want to crucify him? Was his vision of spontaneous stigmata/bleeding on the image in the holy book he opened foretelling his own crucifixion... originally I thought he was feeling guilt over abandoning his christian faith.

Does this drive him further away from his former faith, or back to it?

his need to feel responsible for his fatherhood, which put Lagertha in an awful humiliating position. I'm glad her son chose to leave with her.

The preview at the end for what is coming the rest of the season got me really excited. I'm kind of tempted to just wait and binge the season once it's all out but... I probably won't be able to resist

I thought you could view full episodes at history.com, but all I could find were recaps for each of the season one episodes. They do have full episodes for season 2 there, but not for season 1.
