Anybody else keeping track of the cast for the 2nd season of HBO's "True Detective"?

Potential bummer alert.

Probable cast members, so far: Taylor Kitsch, Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Elizabeth Moss.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see that crew living up to the genuinely amazing standards of the initial season.

Your thoughts?

Moss has played very distinctly different roles, including the "down under" Sundance series, Top of the Lake). Don't know Taylor Kitsch.

Not impressed with Vince Vaughn--in any of his previous roles.

For McAdam.

She has a wide age range of female fans that maybe skipped the first season.

I'm not sure I even know who this Taylor guy is?

But Colin Farrell and Vaughn? I love the idea.

Vaughn if he is playing someone over the top, a bad guy - I can see it.

Going all the way back to Swingers he had that 'flow'.
