The Americans - Official Season 3 Trailer "Watching You"

It doesn’t get nearly the recognition or the ratings that it deserves, but The Americans is one of the best, boldest, most gripping series on television. Season two of the FX series managed to completely outdo the first season, as the Cold War drama continued to find its footing. The trailer for season three — with a killer, haunting version of the Police’s Every Breath You Take — promises us even more intrigue, even more exposure within the Jennings family, and potentially, somehow, an even better drama.

The Americans season three premieres on January 28th.

The trailer isn't available since I'm outside the US, but I'd rather wait and not have any hint what is going to happen anyway.

I'm going to rewatch the last two episodes from Season 2 to remember where the story left off. It has been a long time since the last season.

Thanks to Amazon Prime, I just watched the first two seasons of The Americans. Really good. I had seen the good reviews and ratings at Metacritic for the last couple seasons, and finally got around to watching it over this holiday season. I really enjoyed it, a lot. And, I'm looking forward to Season 3 on Jan. 28.

I don't recall seeing anything quite like this on tv. A spy show on U.S. tv told from the point of view of KGB agents working against America. Having it set during the period of the 1980’s, with Reagan, Central America, etc., is interesting as well. With the 13-year old daughter getting sucked into religion, where else on tv can one see the characters get so upset over that and make comments about the "opiate of the masses"?
