Related: About this forumAnyone watching the French series, The Returned--- on A&E?
Unbelievably good show. Dead people start showing up in a small French town...some killed within the last couple of years, some killed 35 years ago. Plus weird things are happening in the town...their water reservoir is draining for no apparent reason... Etc.
First season is on Netflix.
Subtitles... Trust me....its fantastic.

(11,923 posts)It's on ABC. I don't watch a lot of TV, but found that and "Sleepy Hollow" on Hulu. That's how I time my hour and faster intervals (during commercial breaks) on the treadmill. I'll have to check out "The Returned" and see if the episodes follow the same situations as what I've already seen!

(1,945 posts)I was looking for season 2 before Christmas and one place said that it would come on 'before the end of the year', but I could never find it. I agree, it's really unique. I'll have to go to A&E and see what it says there.
Thanks!!

(1,945 posts)Looks like season 2 is being filmed now and will tentatively air in the fall of 2015. Too bad, wish it was sooner.

(48,217 posts)Wow, the deterioration of A&E was one of the many reasons that I dropped cable. When they got rid of MI-5 in mid-season and started showing garbage like Dog the Bounty Hunter (and BBC America started showing Star Trek: The Next Generation and Dancing with the Stars reruns) I knew it was time to drop to basic-basic cable, and eventually, when I bought my new TV, to drop cable entirely and rely on broadcast and streaming.
