It's been interesting to me, because there are certain genres I assumed that I didn't like -- gangster films -- that I have discovered are quite good. And others that I assumed that I would enjoy -- coming of age filims -- that bore me to tears. It's a bit strange (and kind of good) to learn new things about yourself as an old lady!
