Related: About this forumOk, I've watched Zoo for you so now you don't have to.
Didn't care for it.....premise acceptable, but the acting? The actors/actresses just do 't make it for me....just don't care for it. Anyone else?

(1,945 posts)But a friend posted her thoughts--as realistic as Sharknado but without the humor. I think I'll pass on this one.

All I can think is that suits must have written the scripts, not real writers.
BTW, I started King's novel a while back and got a few hundred pages in before stopping. I don't know how much the TV show resembles his book, but even if the silly plotline is being followed, the dialogue is amazingly ridiculous.

(46,436 posts)He's just so over-the-top. And the redhead reminds me of my best friend from my hippie days. In fact, some of these episodes remind me of acid trips we took together. LOL.

(102,357 posts)two or more new ones released at a time, is off-putting to me. Good on him for being so productive, I guess, but it just makes me not want to read him--much like when Sidney Sheldon and Danielle Steel were "pumping them out" in the 1990s...
So, I am likewise not too interested in watching a tv series from one of his books...

(28,394 posts)It's a fun summertime series. I don't know much about acting quality, so I'm easily entertained I guess!
I enjoyed seeing the actor from VEEP in a different role. And the lions were very cool!

(16,104 posts)Cats, cats, cats! Big ones, small ones. Hanging out in trees!!! My personal worst nightmare - and a real sense of dread.
This is god-awful horror in my book, and I am hooked! Sooner or later, those cats are going to get their comeuppance!

(30,761 posts)our cats actually own us. There is a cat conspiracy to rule the world!
If cats chose the shows to watch, this one would be a ratings blockbuster!
LOL

Maybe I will just have to be scared when the rodent populations decides to get us, like skunks and rats and Squirrels those furry tailed rats that seem to be able to get to any seed anywhere!!! A squirrel moved into my house by accident - via the laundry basket and I would wake with it's tail in my face and it would pick particular drawers in my dresser to crap in, liveo n stolen dog food and water from my very uninterested dog. 6 horrible weeks until I got rid of the bugger, caught it in a hav a heart cage on the 50th try - it escaped after being caught because it was just a baby, finally grew big enough to catch - then let it outside.
