Modern Family the Luke charterer is now horrible

I get it, that Luke is a teenager, so he has to be a bit of a smartass, but why make him so so unlikable. Is it the way Nolan is playing him? Or the way he is being told to play the charterer. Its so so noticeable, I wonder if its a hollywood thing from Nolan, that he has asked, "Oh I know what would be funny, have Luke burn the other charterers and make sure its known hes had sex" Cause the thing is, not only is luke becoming unlikable, but so is Nolan.

His burn on Manny was just so so unfunny and pro bullying.

Why did the writers think this was a good idea.

I thought he was supposed to be more like the dad...smart but clueless about the world around him and not malicious in any way. The hound dog story line isn't believable for him.

I also thought it was crappy that they fat shamed Andy on one of the last episodes. Meanwhile there are other overweight actors on the show.
