Tucson and Odile will be on the national news for a few days

Not just Tucson, of course... but Jim Cantore from the weather channel arrived in TUS on Tues. and was live on air from Sabino Canyon at 3:30am (AZ time) this morning. He's here to cover the storm, and they said (on KVOA news last night) that some people from the Today show were going to be in town also.

I wouldn't be surprised if they need to reschedule that debate.

Currently:

DUers doing? It is wet up here in the valley, too. It is rare to receive more than one inch and yet some areas have received 2 to 3 inches. Saying a prayer that our Tucson folks stay safe.

mostly missed us. I think we got less than an inch of rain. Huge relief. There was still 5-7 inches of rainfall as predicted, but to the south and east of us. National weather svc was off by 60-80 miles....

Nogales got it bad, and parts of Cochise County too. Kali's area was probably hit pretty bad. I hope she's ok.

I hope Polo goes west west WEST!
