FROM PIMA COLLEGE, FT. HUACHUCA AND LOCAL SCHOOLS
The Santa Cruz Advocates for the Arts will hold a day-long tribute to jazz great Charles Mingus with the Charles Mingus Hometown Music Festival on April 23, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The music festival is free and open to the public and will take place at the First Bank Yuma Nogales Business Center, 825 N. Grand Ave., across from the former entrance to the all-black Army camp, Camp Little, where Mingus' father was stationed when Mingus was born on April 22, 1922.
