They are staunch Democrats and lifetime Union people.
The first thing they did was hook up with the local Democratic Party people and made friends. They are VERY active and spent countless hours ringing doorbells and working on voter registration efforts.
But...that neck of the woods is still right-wing, no doubt about it. My sister is used to it though having lived in Spokane most of her life.
I don't know anything specific about Bullhead City and its political bent, sorry.
