Pima County Once Again Pokes Itself In The Eye

With Arizona fast becoming the nation's laughingstock (with justification, I should add), I find myself more and more being called upon to defend my beloved Tucson home:

"We Are NOT Phoenix! We are NOT Maricopa! We are the home of Mo Udall, Raul Grijalva and Gabby Giffords!!!"

Then there was that Daily Show interview with Michael Hicks. Talk about an embarrassment!

And now, I just learned that one of the headline acts at this year's Pima County Fair is going to be........wait for it........

TED NUGENT!!

I want to know who's responsible for this. I want his/her ass put in a sling....

The TUSD board members are elected right?

Very low voter turnouts favor conservatives and school board elections tend to have some of the lowest turnouts.

Honestly if Arizona Liberals/Progressives would register and vote at the same rates as in the community at large no Republican would win in any race, but for a host of reasons the natural constituency of the Democratic party vote in very low numbers.

We live in an oligarchy of our own making.

If you really want to be embarrassed look at the Sperm is Life law just signed into law by your lovely governor.
But I really can't call your state on embarrassment as I live in Wisconsin, the home of the worst governor in the US.

Online Poll to stop Ted Nugent from appearing next weekend at Pima County Fairgrounds. We don't want or need Nugent in the hometown of Gabby Giffords and Southern Arizona.
