Santa Barbara Video Tour

Lived in this lovely little city for a while. But it got way to expensive to live, (Yes, more expensive than San Francisco) but I loved this part of Central and Southern California. Two hours drive and you could be in Los Angeles. Its a place worth visiting if every you are traveling to California! Santa Barbara also has some lovely wines, worth trying.

I spent three years at UCSB getting my degree. Santa Barbara was like home, then.

My late Mother-in-law's favorite place to visit and 45 minute drive from where I live now.

We try to visit there at least a dozen times a year. ALWAYS takes my breath away with it's classic beauty.

And remember the year the Lady Gauchos had won the basketball tournament. Santa Barbara was such a lovely place. I had a car back then too, because you do need it to get around, unlike San Francisco. I loved going to The Old Spanish Days~Fiesta in Santa Barbara. It was great that the town could almost shut down for the Fiesta. The roaming Mariachi bands on the street...buying eggs filled with confetti, the Churritos and outstanding huge chicken burritos!!.. One of the reasons I love Mexican food, was because of my stay in Santa Barbara!! Every time I have something with Avocados (We had a tree in our back yard) I am reminded of Santa Barbara!
