(3,163 posts)None of the plans which have been presented so far have economics which work out. Filled with dishonest promises of "no new taxes" and claims that the stadium will not cost anything because it will be paid for with bonds rather than with taxes.
Reminds me of my grandmother who used to say that, "These biscuits didn't cost me anything to make because I already had all of the ingredients." My father would sputter and fuss, until he saw the twinkle in her eye and realized that his mother was messing with him.
Dean Spanos and the politicians are not just messing with us though, they are lying to us.

Of course, it didn't hurt that the Niners already owned the land, which had been their HQ and practice facility.
