(10,117 posts)...is my rep and her district DID include Palm Springs, and all the wealth that was there.
Demographics have changed there, and in my part of the district, the housing crunch has changed the demographic here (more young families, just starting out that bought up or are renting foreclosed homes).
I sure hope this is the year she leaves. My old rep was Bob Filner...now running for mayor of San Diego. Now HE was a great congressman. If he becomes mayor in SD that will REALLY signal a change.
