California Judges: anyone familiar with Appellate Justice Barbara J. R. Jones?

I can't find info on how Jones got on the court nor any kind of indication regarding decisions.

Any articles online state "She was appointed in the year..." but never states "by whom".

It seems her decisions seem impartial, with no left-right woopla.

(I must say - voting in this CA election took me 20 minutes, but the judicial side took me 2 hours this year.)
