Plaza on the east side of the Fresno County Courthouse,
Courthouse Park, Mariposa and M St., Downtown

You are invited to wear as much black as possible
This is a solemn occasion and a call to action

Your presence will show everyone – Congress,
President Obama, the community,
and people you know – that you stand
against U.S. military action in Syria

Stand with the organizers at Peace Fresno, local
groups, and national organizations who say
War is not the answer!

If you go to just one street action for peace this year, make it this one!
Goals:
· To motivate the larger community opposed to more U.S. war to contact Congress

· To bring out LARGE numbers of peace community members to make a statement that is so LARGE and so focused that it will get the attention of those in the community at large and give them the tools to take action – that is, to contact their Congressmen and Senators

· To provide the tools for action so that all in attendance, all in the media's viewing and audience, and all on our contact lists FEEL THAT THEY MUST and CAN EASILY TAKE ACTION

Peace Fresno needs all peace lovers to publicize this, show up, and we also need some volunteers to help with advance preparation.
