Been through a number of those in SD years ago. Some where a little hairy, especially the one in Palms Springs in the mid-late 80s. I was in a beach community in LA area and it shook the house pretty hard for about a minute. Glad I wasn't around after that.

(39,319 posts)I'm in Santa Monica and it felt like one of my walls was hit by a truck! At first I figured it was the neighbor doing construction lol!!
I updated that it was a 3.2 in Marina del Rey according to kcal

(39,319 posts)We haven't had a good ride for a while, usually these days they're the undulating type that lots of people don't even feel. Everyone around here felt that one real good!
(not that I want to encourage them to happen, they aren't that much fun!)
