A Fresno Action for the EARTH, SOCIETY and OURSELVES

Join us in celebrating International Day of Peace.

What: CAMPAIGN NONVIOLENCE EVENT
When: Sunday, September 21, 3:30 – 4:45 PM (Raging Grannies sing at 3:20)
Where: Saint Paul Newman Center, Main Chapel, 1572 E. Barstow Ave

What: PEOPLE'S CLIMATE MARCH AND RALLY
When: Sunday, September 21, 4:45 – 6:00 PM
Where: Marching from Saint Paul Newman Center to rally at Shaw and Cedar

the Freepers and Neocons tried to destroy Peace Fresno 12 years ago.

besides the drum beating for war in Iraq/Iran/Syria.... they were also protecting the Freedom to drive Hummers and other gas guzzlers.. it was their right... just like their right to have guns.

Eventhough the (hated/evil/traitorous) local environmentalist were calling for reducing the pollution in Fresno due to it being in the Valley and that the #1 killer of children in the valley is cancer and asthma. for this the right wing radio and some fresno council members called the local environmental and groups like Peace Fresno.. anti american.

now 12 years later, last Christmas when I was home.. the air was so thick with pollution it looked like China.. and there was no green grass on the country side.. it was brown and mostly brush.. another worst drought ever.

I wonder where those who called environmentalist traitors are now ?
