http://blog.sfgate.com/nov05election/2014/10/13/shocking-new-kashkari-ad-accuses-brown-of-betraying-ca-kids/The 30-second spot, called Betrayal, which Kashkaris campaign said will start airing Tuesday in every media market in the state, shows a young boy drowning in a swimming pool. When kids in failing schools begged Jerry Brown to save them, he betrayed them, says the caption in the spot, as the child struggles underwater.
The ad shows Kashkari pulling the boy to safety and addressing the camera: Im running for governor because every kid, in every neighborhood, deserves a good education and a chance for a better life. Jerry Brown betrayed our kids to protect his donors. When Im governor, Ill fight for kids not against them....
The drowning child in the new spot, campaign consultants say, is a metaphor for Californias poor and minority children who have been abandoned in a system that fails to protect the most qualified and best teachers in favor of other criteria, seniority and tenure.
You stay classy, Neel!

(3,732 posts)He's the same one that pulled that homelessness stunt. Especially cruel considering how many actual homeless people there are in the area that would have been happy to Homelessness'Splain to him that it doesn't count unless he actually goes through the starvation and stresses and physical debility and State crazy-making bureaucracy first.
The irony is, with someone like him in charge, the State wouldn't have the services that someone like him would actually need when they hit rock bottom and all their crazy leads to indigent unemployment and the need for mental health services and various programs to help him dig his way out.
I repeat: this guy is a nut. I bet he ends up with a mohawk and a prominently placed libertarian/cult tattoo before this political campaign is over. Someone get him off my computer screen.
