San Leandro Police Officer Struck by Vehicle in "Critical Incident"

An officer was struck Thursday morning by a vehicle, in what the San Leandro police department called a "critical incident."

The officer was struck on Broadmoor Boulevard in a residential part of the city about 7:30 a.m. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, though his exact condition was unknown.
