The rain is a good thing, on the whole. I don't know why we have to endure the down side.

I was surprised to see that it added up to 2" though, it didn't feel like that much here in town. I guess it kept up for quite a while after I fell asleep...

(9,298 posts)is pretty significant...sorry about that. Here in L.A. the canvas blew off my wooden spoked table umbrella and rested on my next door neighbor's fence. Table tipped over, too. The wind actually woke me up last night, but no trees down that I saw. Next time, hope it's a bit more gentle, but still glad it came.

(75,480 posts)That might explain it. They are so much more efficient than PG & E or Edison. I've had service from all of them at one time or another and that damn government run utility is the most efficient.
