(78,249 posts)I was, after all, an engineering major at one time. There is a BART station there that's about 15 minutes from Berserkeley.

(4,412 posts)and reasonably priced. One of the women I work with has tried it. We tend to eat Peruvian when in Oakland and S.F. for that matter. Although and El Toro burrito sounds soooooo good right now.

(4,412 posts)Both were actually on my list when my Mom came out for a whirlwind tour of Bay Area cuisine. We never got to Burma Superstar unfortunately. I've lived in the Bay Area for a long time, though, so throw some others at me.
Homeroom is good, but very crowded. When we went, we had to wait outside a long time. This isn't a good scenario for disabled people. Because the wait outside is so long, and you're seated at long lunchroom tables inside, you feel rushed. If you have a way to eat near by, I'd suggest getting your macaroni to go.
Hold the cheese, please.
