Rep Duncan Hunter (R) supports Citizens United and McCutcheon.

I recently signed a petition to overturn Citizen's United. I received a reply from Rep Duncan Hunter. I won't retype his whole response, only a snippet, as I do not have quick and easy access to a scanner.

Rep Hunter said,

"I recognize your concern that this ruling will allow large corporations and certain individuals to have great influence in the election process. However, I also believe that free speech is one of our most protected rights under the Constitution and I have significant concerns with efforts that would target a specific industry's constitutional rights as identified by the nation's highest court."

"Nevertheless, I share your belief that we must do everything we can to ensure that integrity is upheld in our elections process. ..."

just like his daddy was.

He supported the "free speech" of an insubordinate enlisted marine who continued posting inflammatory anti-Obama remarks on his personal website, even after senior military leadership told him to knock it off.

He's a former marine himself, but a disgrace to the Marine Corps for encouraging insubordination against the C-in-C in the ranks.
