Colorado has an app that allows the equivalent of a vaccine passport and more...

If you haven't seen the myColorado app, download it where you get your apps and tool around. Once you have gone through the somewhat onerous registration method that applies multiple levesl of validation, you can access the official equivalent of your vaccine record in CDC card format-- but verified by the state health department from their own registry. You can likewise use it to store not only your driver's license, insurance card, car registration, but copies of other official licenses or papers.

Here's a portion of Gov Polis' press release mentioning it:

Governor Polis also announced the new myVaccine feature on the myColorado app. Coloradans with a state-issued ID can access their COVID-19 immunization records securely and conveniently via the myColorado app. This new functionality within the myColorado app produces a digital version of the CDC vaccination card and is also an easy way for Coloradans who have lost their vaccination card to retrieve a replacement record. A retrieved vaccination record is only visible to the myColorado user who downloaded it, and the data is not shared with anyone else in the retrieval process.

Easy access to your digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record

You can now use the myColorado™ app to access your COVID-19 vaccine record.

If you haven't already, download the myColorado app™ and have your Colorado Driver's License or ID ready to set up your account.

Once your account is set up, click the myVaccine Record button on the main wallet page.

Review the myVaccine information and click "Continue."

Confirm First Name, Last Name, DOB, and Gender.

Enter your phone number or email address.

Click "Submit."

Allow up to 10 seconds for your record to load.

Your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card should appear and you will have the ability to download it to your device.

Glad they have that, but I wouldn't use it for anything but vaccine stuff. Pobeka Aug 2021 #1

It will be a target for ID theft, best keep other important papers in a safety deposit box or similar...

If you go through the three-way id process to register, you'll find every time you log in they apply a multi-layer authentication process.

I don't have anything there (no social security card or information) but only those items that are available publicly.

The advantage, though is the state validation of your vaccine record so there is no doubt that the document you can call up is not a counterfeit.
