Washington @wusa9 reports National Park Service has approved Jason Kessler's permit for Unite the Right2 at Lafayette Square Aug 11-12 but not issued a permit. https://on.wusa9.com/2MBBaEh

I'm glad he's not having another August 12th. rally here in Charlottesville. In DC, no guns, no Jim Crow statues in Lafayette Square, and law enforcement that has a clue how to deal with crowds.

Edit to add: I assumed incorrectly about Charlottesville.

MORE: Jason Kessler tells @HenryGraff he still plans to hold Unite the Right 2 in Charlottesville about the confederate monuments. He says the D.C. event is about the civil rights abuse by and the Charlottesville government. He is suing over permit denial in Charlottesville.

A speech would be appropriate because of the good people on both sides. Yonnie3 Jun 2018 #2

He can also pull a W. And send a pre-recorded message. Even though he'll be at the White House if he's not out golfing again.

Do I need to put a sarcasm thingy here?

Kessler organized an event that killed a former coworker's granddaughter. He shows no remorse or even the faintest amount of sympathy.

I hate that SOB.
