not smart to go out in a group anyway.

They used to practice over my school building in San Diego once a year. The kids ( 1st grade) could not focus and neither could I, so we would go to the playground and watch the show. I did an impromptu lesson (an excuse in case my principal chose to harass me) on sight and sound waves and delays in hearing the planes after already seeing them.

not far from Baltimore, on a river, no population centers nearby, no chance I'd go ANYWHERE in a group. Thought I might be able to hear the noise, but didn't.

that states had bought. But in the meantime, this is to boost morale for essential workers

A neighbor made all 77 homes two masks for all of us. Nice cloth ones. Very good for running into Publix. Thankfully fuel is cheap. And they have to log in so many hours a month to keep certifications up. I think it’s a federal law.

on getting essential supplies for these workers and paying them more? I realize that military pilots need training exercises (and I love airshows) but maybe some of the money could be spent in a more directly useful way.

for the people who can't watch the airshow because they're too busy in the hospitals risking their lives trying to save their patients.

or words to that effect.

And I love how this spectacle comes with a warning to please not risk your health in order to be a spectator.

The health care workers and human service providers I know would rather the money and effort be put into getting them protective gear.

Fuel is cheap these days. It's not like there are many planes flying now. Pilots and planes exist.

5 jets with blue trails, 5 jets with white trails, and one that might symbolize the virus being left behind to die on it's own or something.

The Italian one looked cooler with the 3 colors and the virus jet coming right at them. They had opera, we didn't.

As told by my neighbor who worked ( not currently) at the tower at Andrews. It is anecdotal not sounds logical to me.

Are they dropping food?

Are they dropping money?

If not, I don't really care, do you?
