As if it wasn't bad enough to exclude DC mayor on the teleconference then to dispatch federal riot teams to DC because there is no governor to say no - now they want to take over the police department. It is way past time to make DC a state, we'll see what happens when you give them two senators and they get to vote.

' John Falcicchio, the chief of staff for D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser, confirmed Tuesday that federal officials, including at the White House, inquired about their powers to take control of the city’s police department. He said city officials objected and would mount a legal challenge if federal officials tried to do so.'
